Music for Mushrooms is a narrative documentary highlighting the personal journey of shamanistic musician and filmmaker East Forest (Krishna-Trevor Oswalt) – a collaborator of the late Ram Dass – whose bold experiments pair music with guided psychedelic experiences to create spaces of healing for a fractured world.
The film captures East Forest as he performs guided ceremonial concerts that offer participants an immersive environment to confront their pain and fears, fostering hope, and moving them to re-engage with their own true north. The Paradise Theatre
The Paradise Theatre is an intimate non-profit theatre located in the heart of Downtown Paonia. Our mission is to build community through educational events, live music, film, and theater. The historic entertainment venue was built in 1928 and formed into a non-profit in 2014. From it's inception, the Paradise has been a gathering place for the community. Our standing room capacity is 200 and our seated capacity is 119. We offer organic popcorn and snacks, locally produced wines and liquors, hard cider, and a full bar with speciality cocktails.
