Join violist Brian Anderson and violinist Claire Hebeisen for a program of rhythmic virtuosity that might just make you want to get up out of your seat and do something. Mozart’s call to action is his boldly uplifting String Duo in G major, followed by inward-looking pieces by Augusta Read Thomas and Christopher Theofanidis. Lastly, the stirring counterpoint of Bach’s Partita No. 2 carries an extra punch on the resonant and sombre viola.
