Come together with friends for a concert with conversation, food, and brews.
Departure Arts presents its Music & Mentorship Series' first concert, hosting drummer Charles Haynes and saxophonist Gregory Groover. Charles and Gregory will share new music rooted in jazz that they've created together, while also sharing stories throughout the performance of their recent mentorship journey.
For the past six months, Charles and Greg have been paired together in the Departure Arts Mentorship program. This project brings structure and funding to mentorship, an often informal form of artistic career development.
This project is supported by generous funding and inspired advice from The Boston Foundation and the Live Arts Boston grant.
