No doubt the life of the Virgin Mary, the Madonna, has been a focal point of sacred music in Western classical music, especially in the Baroque era. This program features two beautiful Marian Cantatas, as well as glowing works for strings and continuo by Händel, Corelli and Rosenmüller.
