Description
Please note the updated date/time is Thursday, January 21 at 8 PM EST.
Join the Antiracist Artist Podcast community in our second workshop, led by Kevin Schuering.
As the New Year arrives, we will come together in this community workshop to gain some of the skills and tools needed to become effective in manifesting our goals toward equity, inclusion, and liberation for all. By pulling on the strength of community action, we will demystify what effective intentions look like, how to employ them to achieve a sense of empowerment, and work toward committing to reliable actions.
Together we will head into 2021 with intention and clarity, setting the table for a new year (and oh do we need it!).

I was born and raised in the diverse Chicago neighborhood of Rogers Park. I am mixed race (Chinese, Irish, Bohemian, etc.). I have always appreciated so many different forms of art and storytelling which led me to training at the acclaimed Piven Theatre. There I was introduced to improv, ensemble theatre, and Viewpoints. Shortly after, I continued my training at Illinois Wesleyan University, furthering discovering Laban, stage combat, and more. Currently, I'm based out of NYC, continuing training at Jen Waldman Studio, and Alba Technique under the tutelage of Master Teacher Patricia Angelin.
