Description

Natsha Blaine

Natasha Blaine is a Nashville-based singer and songwriter from Seattle, Washington. Her work blends soul, R&B, and pop music with her roots in vocal jazz—citing great influence from artists like D'Angelo, Lianne La Havas, Amy Winehouse, and Emily King. With her songwriting, described as "direct, unfiltered and emotionally immediate,” buttery vocals, and energizing live shows, Blaine has "quickly become one of Nashville's most acclaimed rising stars."

Blaine lived in Seattle until 2018. Studying literature at the University of Washington at the time, she felt an overwhelming urge to move away from home and pursue music instead. To get perspective, she spent a few months in London, England. While there, she made the decision to move to Nashville, TN. She ended up transferring to Vanderbilt University, getting her degree in literature while becoming the school’s first vocal jazz graduate. Before graduating in 2021, she became heavily involved in the famous Nashville writers’ round circuit, writing songs between classes and gigging at night.

Since the 2021 release of her debut EP, I Fall in Love Too Easily, Blaine has started rolling out a series of upcoming singles. This year, Blaine has headlined a sold-out festival (Good Coffee Fest), played many iconic Nashville venues like The Analog, The 5 Spot, and The Basement, and sold out shows at The Listening Room and Rudy's Jazz Room.
