National Farm Animal Day - Story Time and Meet the Animals

Did you know April 10th is National Farm Animal Day?  

Join us with your little ones at Chubby Goat Farmhouse for story time and a personal tour to meet and learn about all of our farm friends!  You can meet Gracie and Maverick, our mini-highland cows); and 14 goats including the newest additions to the farm "The Snack Attack Herd!"  Learn about cows, chickens, goats and llamas!

Tickets are $10 per child; no charge under age 2 when attending with a sibling.  An adult must stay with the children. Limited spaces.  Tickets required - two sessions - noon for the little ones and 4pm for after school.  Weather permitting - we can have story time in the little event barn, but if its raining hard we will cancel and refund. 

Please wear closed toed shoes - preferably something washable since it can be muddy here.

We are a small hobby farm in central New Jersey.  Our animals bring us great joy and love and we want to share that experience with others - especially children who read about farm animals but rarely get to actually meet them!

Our newest family member is Maverick a mini highland cow who come to become Gracies instant BFF!  They join our deaf llama, Boo, and his herd of 8 goats as well as our not always friendly rooster, Buckeye, and his flock of hens.  We have spectacular sunsets, a wide open paddock to play in, and a small entertainment barn!
