Description
Get ready to kick off the semester with New Student Orientation, a mandatory event for all incoming students (except 100% online students). This orientation is designed to set you up for success as you begin your academic journey at Rutgers-Camden.
During the day on Thursday, August 29th, you will have a number of events and special opportunities to welcome you to campus:
Orientation Day Highlights
- Chancellor BBQ and Raptor Welcome: Free lunch and campuswide celebration on the quad, between 12-3:00PM. Register here.
- Graduate Program Breakout Rooms: Your program director will lead you to your breakout session before orientation. 3-4:00PM.
- We will ask all new students to check in at a table located by the Campus Center between 2:30-3:00PM to ensure you know where to go for your breakout room.
- Graduate School-Camden New Student Orientation: Learn about campus resources, pathways to success, and more. 4-5:30PM.
- Dinner in the Dining Hall: Get dinner on us and try out the dining hall in the process. 5:30-7PM.
- Icebreakers, entertainment, movies, and more. From 7PM on, icebreakers will be held for new students, and a movie will be shown on campus.
