Join us this New Year's Eve for a relaxed, fun celebration with other singles in their 40s and beyond! Celebrate the start of the year with cocktails and great conversation in a laid-back atmosphere.
This isn’t your typical loud, crowded New Year’s Eve bash with blasting hip-hop and techno music. If you're looking for an insane party with drunk 20-somethings, this isn't the place. Unlike most NYC New Year's events that cost over $125 per ticket, this gathering is designed for those seeking a more mature, relaxed atmosphere, where you can mingle and enjoy the company of like-minded individuals. It’s the ideal setting to make new connections or maybe even meet someone special!
Event Details:
We’re expecting over 100 attendees
Complimentary Champagne Toast at Midnight
The entire upstairs bar/lounge area is reserved for our event
Great music all night (80s & 90s hits, pop, rock, and dance)
Hershey Kisses and other candy treats
Fun icebreaker game with prizes (e.g. everyone gets half of a playing card—find your match to win a raffle ticket!)
Open to singles aged 40 and over
Full food and drink menu available at the bar
70% of attendees typically come solo (30% bring friends)
Dress code: Neat, professional, and stylish (no t-shirts, tank tops, gym attire, or baseball caps)
Doors open at 8:20 PM, but feel free to arrive anytime. Most guests arrive between 8:30 and 9:30 PM
There’s a small dance area, and dancing may happen naturally as the night progresses
Countdown to the ball drop at midnight! We’ll have 5 large TVs showing the ball drop live
Everyone will be given "Connect Cards" to write their name and email address on, which they can hand out to anyone they’d like to meet again. It’s a low-pressure way to connect with others and exchange information.
The event will be held at Playwright, a friendly and welcoming bar (not a trendy lounge or nightclub). Don’t expect a formal gala—this is a relaxed and fun atmosphere where you can meet new people your age without the exorbitant prices of other NYC New Year’s parties. Most venues charge over $125 for admission and inflated drink prices (often $20 or more per drink). At Playwright, drink prices remain affordable, and the ticket cost is a great value for a New Year's Eve event!
