A staple of late night TV in the 1980s, the 1986 colorized version of George A. Romero’s NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD is a treat for the senses. Here, the movie’s eerie mood, bold messaging, and haunting visuals are enhanced and transformed into an impressionistic netherworld -- one that’s filled with green zombies, pink skies, and neon-red gore.
