Description

100 years of Ninnescah Valley Bank! We would like to invite you to join us in celebration as we are hosting a live outdoor concert on Saturday, October 4th featuring Paramount in downtown Cunningham! Prior to this, Cunningham will be hosting its annual Fall Fest during the day on Main Street. Come over early to enjoy a pumpkin patch, cornhole tournament, crafts, kids' games, delicious food, car and tractor show, raffles and much more!

On June 19, 1925, Frank F. Allbritten, V.S. Crippen, N.T. Fitzsimmons, Leland Scrogin, George W. Lemon, and O.H. Bock filed an application with the Comptroller of the Currency’s office within the U. S. Treasury Department for a bank charter. The bank’s name was to be The First National Bank of Cunningham, and its first president was to be George W. Lemon. Frank F. Allbritten was the initial Vice President and V.S. Crippen the Cashier.

Rufus Leiter came to the bank in 1926 and led it for most of the next four decades until his death, after which Jack Meyers became the President.  For business reasons, the bank changed its name in 2018 to Ninnescah Valley Bank, but it remains the same bank with the same familiar faces and the same commitment.  Fast forward to today, and with Eric Meyers now serving as President, the bank has turned 100 years old!

Through the years, this bank has always been committed to community.  We would like to capitalize on this opportunity and lend some financial support to the Community Center by donating 100% of ticket sales to return some shine to the heavily used community center.  It is in need of many repairs, mostly cosmetic, but we know how important that facility is to this community and we want it to be an attractive space for years to come.

For over a decade, Paramount has been lighting up stages across the Midwest and beyond with their high-energy 80s rock tribute shows. Covers include Journey, REO Speedwagon, Def Leppard, Poison, Bon Jovi, Guns N' Roses, and more! Led by powerhouse vocals and backed by jaw-dropping sound and lights, Paramount is your ticket to the ultimate 80s rock party. From festivals to venues across six states, this band knows how to crank up the nostalgia and deliver a night full of fun, energy, and singalong hits.

This is an all-ages concert, and those aged 6+ will require a ticket for entry. Presale tickets will be available through October 3rd at a cost of $25. Tickets purchased on October 4th will cost $30. 100% of ticket sale proceeds will be donated to the Cunningham Community Center for renovations.

Gates open to presale ticket holders at 6:30, and general admission at 7. Concert will begin at 7:30 and end at 10. IDs will be checked, as there is a beer garden located inside gates. No bags, ice chests, or personal cups allowed inside gates. Food vendors will be available outside the gates (food and beverages from these vendors can be brought back in, with valid wristband). Limited bleacher seating will be available. It's still recommended that you bring your own lawn chair for a guaranteed seat.

ALL TICKET SALES ARE FINAL. In the event of inclement weather, the concert will unfortunately be cancelled. Updates regarding this will be posted on the event Facebook page as necessary.
