Description
"No Opera at the Op'ry House" is an old-fashioned melodrama written with a contemporary flair. Baron Wolfgang wants to marry opera singer Alma for her gold mine inheritance but won't marry a commoner. He schemes with con woman Lily to get Alma a title by marrying her to Billy, a poor composer who's secretly a nobleman. After a quick annulment, the Baron plans to marry Alma and steal her fortune., but outrageous Madame Violetta ruins their plans during Billy's opera performance.
