Shock and shame story of a night girl!
The Film: A reformed lady of the evening (Constance Towers) moves to an idyllic small town, determined to make a clean start. She falls for a small-town hero (Michael Dante), only to find something dark and perverse simmering under the surface. The film in many ways was years ahead of its time for 1964, tackling heavy issues such as exploitation of women, misogyny, and the hypocrisy of middle-class morality. Written and directed by Sam Fuller, The Naked Kiss is a remarkable film - a must for film noir fans.
