On May 10th at 1:30 PM, five dynamic poetry slam teams from across the state—including Lost Voices (Fayetteville), Detour (Fayetteville), Beasts of the Mountains (Asheville), Slam Charlotte (Charlotte), and Bull City (Durham)—will battle it out in a friendly scrimmage-style competition. Taking place at 226 The Warehouse, this event is a rare opportunity to witness top-tier poetic talent, raw storytelling, and community energy all in one room. With a $10 entry and a $250 prize on the line, come support your city, cheer on your favorite team, and experience the power of poetry in its most electrifying form.
