Welcome to the Nova Scotia Works Fall Job Fair Employer Registration!
Job Seekers: This is not a registration page for job seekers. Job Seekers do not need to pre-register. Click here to sign up for notifications about the Fall Job Fair.
Tables are only available for Thursday, October 17th, 6-8 pm. Don't Delay! This session will fill up quickly.
October 18th's session is currently full.You can add your company name to the waitlist as cancellations sometime occur closer to the event. Simply click the Reserve button, select October 18th and add your name to the waitlist.
Nova Scotia Works, in partnership with the employment centres Job Junction, Opportunity Place, TEAM Work Cooperative and YMCA Halifax, host Job Fairs connecting job seekers and employers.
HRM and area employers who are actively hiring in Fall 2024 are welcome to register for a complimentary booth space. Please note the following conditions for a complimentary booth space:
- Businesses and organizations must be actively hiring in Fall 2024.
- Businesses and organizations are strictly prohibited against soliciting for clients or customers at the Fall Job Fair.
- Registered booth holders are required to send job opening titles prior to the job fair for publishing on the event website.
NS Works Fall Job Fair - October 17th and 18th, 2024
October 17th, 6 pm - 8 pm
4-6 pm Employer set up
6-8 pm Job Fair open to job seekers
8 pm Job Fair closes
8 - 9 pm Employer move out
October 18th, 11 am - 4 pm
9 am-10:30 am Employer set up
11 am-4 pm Job Fair open to job seekers
4 pm Job Fair closes
4-5 pm Employers move out
Your Complimentary Table:
A 6' x 2' table and 2 chairs are included. If you require a table cloth, select Table Cloth in the options.
Other Features:
Job Seekers will have access to a copier service to print or copy their resume.
Interpreters will be available for ASL and French. Other languages TBD.
Employers registered for October 18th will have access to a light lunch for a maximum of 2 representatives, plus access to coffee, tea and water, in a private rest area.
Parking Information:
Free parking is available onsite, subject to availability.
Power:
Select the Power option if you require access to power to ensure you receive a table with access to power. You are responsible for bringing your own extension cord.
Cancellations/No Shows:
Significant funds and resources from Nova Scotia Works make it possible to offer booths at the Fall Job Fair at no cost to actively hiring employers. If you are no longer actively hiring, or are not able to staff your booth, please advise us by October 11th. Your table will be released to the next company on the wait list.
Solicitation:
Employers and their representatives are not permitted to, directly or indirectly, market, offer, sell or otherwise furnish any products or services to the participants of any Nova Scotia Works Job Fair. Failure to comply may result in denial of registration for future job fairs.
