November 22, 2025 - CWS Harrisburg International Friendsgiving To-Go Feast

Join us for a heartwarming celebration of unity and diversity at the CWS Harrisburg International Friendsgiving To-Go Feast. This special event, held in the spirit of Thanksgiving, invites you to partake in a feast that transcends borders and celebrates dishes from Afghanistan,  Sudan, Syrian , Somalia, and Venezuela 

Hosted at the serene Hadee Mosque, our Friendsgiving To-Go Feast is more than just a meal; it's a celebration of human rights, inclusivity, and global friendship.  While this year's event is designed for you to enjoy from the comfort of your own home, the spirit of togetherness and gratitude remains ever-present. Pick up your feast between 2-5 PM and join a worldwide movement of sharing, understanding, and respect. 

Our Menu:

Chana Pilau -Afghanistan (rice with Chickpeas) *vegan

Doolsho- Somalia (Cardamom cake) 

Kibbeh– Syria (Croquets stuffed with spiced ground beef and onions) 

Zigni- Eritrea (Chicken Curry)

Ensalada Rallada- Venezuela (Venezuelan Coleslaw) 

Discounts are available for meal packs of 10, at $230.  We are also offering trays of food for 25+ or more people, available to pick up on any day between October 19 and Dec 14. Email staha@cwsglobal.org to find out more.
