Nursing Academic Summit
Join the world-class team from Nevada’s first and ONLY Magnet® hospital for an in-depth academic summit focused on promoting excellence in nursing across Southern Nevada. Featuring presentations from renowned nursing leaders, UMC’s inaugural Nursing Academic Summit will provide attendees with valuable information focused on emerging technology, UMC’s innovative nursing practice transition program, advanced degree opportunities, and an in-depth discussion about the future of nursing. The Academic Summit will take place at the UMC Delta Point, Emerald Room 901 Rancho Lane from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
School Fair Event
School Fair Event In conjunction with the Nursing Academic Summit on May 5, UMC will also host a School Fair event featuring booths from our academic partners. UMC team members can attend this event and gain valuable information about the higher education opportunities available in our community. The School Fair will take place on May 5, 2026, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the main lobby outside the Café @ UMC
