Project Heroes October 7th Commemoration Concert
Wilshire Boulevard Temple, in partnership with Project HEROES, invites you to an unforgettable night of music, story, and light honoring the people whose courage on October 7 continues to inspire us.
Created as a full-stage experience, the concert weaves live performance with short documentary moments, cinematic video art, and dynamic lighting to tell true stories of heroism, linking today’s acts of bravery with timeless Jewish values. The speaking portions are in English, making the program accessible to all. Led by Israeli artist Gilad Segev, Project HEROES was conceived to help audiences process grief and galvanize strength through art. Sponsorship Generously Provided by The Goldhirsh-Yellin Foundation

About Project HEROES
Project HEROES (Jewish Heroism Experience for Humanity) exists to recenter the Jewish narrative on heroism, moral clarity, responsibility, solidarity, and resilience, and to invite audiences to live those values. Launched with the October 7 Heroes Commemoration, it has become a global platform: producing concerts and storytelling programs across North America and Israel; developing educational resources with partners like StandWithUs and Taglit–Birthright Israel; and earning endorsements from civic and cultural leaders, including a foreword by President Isaac Herzog for the official HEROES book. Through music, film, and learning initiatives, Project HEROES preserves eyewitness accounts, honors lifesaving acts, and builds a living archive of modern Jewish heroism.
