Feeling a little all over the place with your brand visuals? Have you gathered all your logos, colors, fonts, and photos in one spot—or are they still scattered across old folders and emails? If creating a style guide sounds overwhelming or you've felt frustrated by a brand that doesn't quite feel cohesive, this workshop is for you.

We’ll walk step-by-step through building a simple brand foundation document in Canva. By the end, you'll have all your core visuals in one place—and a clearer sense of how to use them across your website, social media, and beyond. Come get organized, feel more confident, and actually enjoy the process.

Class participants should bring:

1. A digital and/or physical copy of their logo (an image on your phone is great, something printed like a business card - bonus)
2. Optional: Any other small marketing collateral you have made (postcards, packaging etc.)
3. Optional: A laptop if they would like to actively follow along with Canva, or use the time to troubleshoot file exports and folder organization. 

Instructor Bio:

Jess Mott Wickstrom is a graphic and front-end web designer who knows how to make content clearer, websites stronger, and presentations more persuasive. With a background in arts programming and project management, she brings a thoughtful, practical approach to every project. Her clients range from nonprofits and creative startups to large institutions—including Bosch USA, the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Planned Parenthood, and the Chicago International Puppet Theater Festival. She used to live full-time in an RV—these days, she’s settled in Asheville with her husband, two daughters, and a very old pit bull named Pickle. silver-egg.org
