A partner or prior dance experience are not needed to attend, as we will show you how to waltz to a German band even if you've never danced before! Join us on your own or with friends to experience an exciting Oktoberfest celebration amidst the backdrop of the DC skyline.

Learn to Dance as they do in Bavaria to Celebrate Oktoberfest Our unforgettable Oktoberfest celebration will immerse you in the lively spirit of Bavaria as you meet other International Club of DC and DC Social Collective members and make new friends. The evening kicks off with fun and energetic dance lessons, so whether you're a seasoned dancer or a complete beginner, you'll be ready to dance to our German band! Then, let loose and dance the night away to the vibrant sounds of a live German band playing all your favorite Oktoberfest tunes.
German Beer Available for Purchase at the Bar Enjoy German beer and other drinks available for purchase at the bar while soaking up the festive atmosphere and making new friends. With a stunning rooftop view, lively entertainment, and a joyous crowd, this event is the perfect way to experience Oktoberfest under the stars.

Attend on Your own or with Friends You are welcome to attend on your own and new members are especially welcome! The event presents a wonderful opportunity to meet, network and socialize with other internationally minded professionals in town. If you are new to our organization or Washington DC this is a great opportunity to meet other like-minded professionals in a friendly and relaxed setting.
Food Available for Purchase The Ven at Embassy Row features a restaurant in the Lobby Level featuring delectable international cuisine as well as handcrafted cocktails available for purchase. If you purchase an entree at the restaurant, your valet parking is validated and free!
Event Agenda (Times are approximate) 6:30 PM Admission Commences for guests who signed up for the Bavarian dance lessons.
Enjoy a waltz and polka lesson prior to dancing. If you purchase a ticket for the dance lessons, please make sure that you arrive by 6:45 PM, as the lessons ends around 7:30 PM.
Shortly after 7:30 PM enjoy Oktoberfest under the Stars with music by a German music band.

Rain Date Policy If the event is postponed due to weather or other situation beyond our control, you can transfer your reservation towards attending any future similar event organized by the International Club of DC. In the event of inclement weather, we may move the event indoors at our sole discretion or arrange for you to have a credit towards attending a similar event in the future. No refunds will be offered due to a weather-related postponement, but the amount paid can be applied towards any future event organized by us.
No Refunds All ticket sales are final. No Refunds. Purchase of tickets constitutes your acceptance that in the event of inclement weather, you may receive an event credit towards attending a future event, unless the event is moved indoors at our sole discretion.
Parking The Embassy Row Hotel is conveniently located at DuPont Circle just a block from Metro. Limited valet parking is also available on a first-come basis.
Parking is limited to street parking in the vicinity of the venue. Kindly note that, as is the case in most major cities, the availability of street parking in Washington DC is limited and beyond our control. Due to the limited availability of parking, we highly recommend a cab, Uber/Lyft or other transportation option. The event start at the designated time so please allow sufficient time for traffic/travel/transportation and parking as these factors are beyond our control.
