Grand Rapids Historical Society is delighted to present our 2025 Summer Musical: Once Upon a Mattress.
Performance are held:
July 11th at 7pm
July 12th at 7pm
July 13th at 2pm
Tickets are $15 for General Admission and $12 for Student and Senior Tickets.
“Many moons ago, in a far off place” a Kingdom ruled by an overbearing Queen is struggling with the marriage law: No one can get married until Prince Dauntless does. And certainly, no princess tested so far is good enough for Queen Aggravain’s only son. Up against a deadline, members of the court are desperate to find a princess who will pass. And Princess Winnifred, the moat-swimming princess might just fit the bill. Once Upon A Mattress tells the familiar tale of The Princess and The Pea in a new, ridiculous way in this musical comedy.
