Description

One Week Live featuring:

New Salty Dog

Duluth-based blues-funk jam band The New Salty Dogs play music heavily inspired by artists such as Frank Zappa, John Denver and A Tribe Called Quest. The band is lead by Jacob Mahon and consists of drummer Owen Mahon, saxophonist Joe Anderson, Calzone on the bass guitar, and Adam Skunch Johnson on the trumpet. The Dogs’ only mission is to “have fun at the expense of sweat.”

Gavin St. Clair

Folk singer Gavin St. Clair has been playing original music in Duluth regularly since moving back to town more than a year ago. St. Clair typically performs solo, but adds upright bass and drums when joined by Jonno Sickerdik and Matt Tessier. It’s an approachable, gentle sound reminiscent of early Simon and Garfunkel, Patrick Sky or Phil Ochs. St. Clair’s four-track demo album, Raining in the Basement, was released in 2016.

Misisipi Mike Wolf

"Misisipi" Mike Wolf is an American singer, songwriter and musician. He currently resides in San Francisco, California, United States. His music has been compared to that of Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings. His music has been featured on nationally broadcast radio and television and has been twice voted as "Best Singer/Songwriter" by readers of the San Francisco Bay Guardian.
