Welcome to Onslaught - an event series that features the greatest in Bass Music. This is a a night of Trap, Bass, Dubstep, and more with Canadian DJ & producer Gl0bal, alongside 2021 Juno nominee for Dance Recording of the Year So Sus, and friends. Expect extra light, video, and sound treatments at Kelowna's Distrikt NIghclub.

Gl0bal

UK-bred, British Columbia-based producer Mickhel Patterson, professionally known as Gl0bal, has carved a distinctive path in the electronic music realm with his sonically diverse blend of trap, bass, and dubstep. Known for seamlessly blending electronic genres, he has earned the support from industry heavyweights such as DJ Snake, Tiësto, Hardwell, The Chainsmokers, Major Lazer, and more. Gl0bal has dominated performance slots at festivals such as Lost Lands, and earned a nomination for Electronic Artist Of The Year at the Western Canadian Music Awards. This past summer, he enjoyed a stellar performance at British Columbia’s Electric Avenue festival, Rifflandia in Victoria, BC.

 

So Sus

At the intersection of wave and trap, So Sus bridges emotive sonic elements with hard-hitting components. They write music for when it’s okay not to be okay; an honest perspective of the world. So Sus is drawn to voice, not only as an instrument, but as a concept, which is reason for their debut EP Voices, which was nominated for Dance Recording of the Year by The Juno Awards in Canada. They won Electronic Artist of the year at the Western Canada Music Awards in 2021.

Notable releases on: Monstercat, Deadbeats, Bitbird, Circus, Parametric Records (Atlantic), and Alter/Ego. Recognized by: Run The Trap, UKF, EARMILK, and FUXWITHIT. Can be heard on global radio: BBC (UK), Triple J (Australia), and 5FM (South Africa). Joined "#BANGUERS with Benzi" for a guest mix on Diplo’s Revolution (Sirius XM). Festival plays: Shambhala, Treefort, & more. Some of the world’s biggest DJs have played their tunes: Skrillex, Alison Wonderland, The Chainsmokers, RL Grime, Zeds Dead and more.

Docta Strange feat. Rachel Geek

(Deep End Music) (Frequency Sound)

Tanner - Docta Strange is a Indigenous Canadian DJ, Electronic Music Producer & Audio Engineer based in unceded Okanagan Syilx Territory. He earned an advanced diploma in Audio Engineering and Music Production. He explores the deeper side of Bass music, touching on Dubstep, Drum and Bass, Halftime, Hip Hop, and Garage. His Bootleg of Flowdan x Jammz – Savage reached #67 on Hypeddit’s Top 100 Dubstep Charts in 2022.  He has two tracks on The Widdler’s US-based music Label “The Widd Fam”, as well as a upcoming release on Canadian based Label “DoYu Deep”. Having the opportunities to perform at some of the biggestWestern Canadian music festivals including Shambhala and Wicked Woods Music Festival, and emerging events Hi, Society and Deep Roots mf,  Tanner is now a veteran who is happy to take on any stage to bring a delight to any dance floor. Rachel Geek joins him his night with a few songs

 

Rachel - Exploring the topic of dialectics as a way to combat her black and white thinking Rachel has been inspired to create music that makes people feel uncomfortable and questions social norms as well as typical music guidelines. High off the inclusive energy at Shambhala Music Festival Rachel performs at, she put out the content she sat on for too long and her fans adore it.
