What You Will Learn

Who doesn’t love a great meal cooked outdoors over an open fire? We sure do and so do our friends from Sweet Blue Smoke! Join us for this very special evening out on the beach as they show you all the tips and tricks to create an unforgettable outdoor feast! 

Jim and Nancy Bosket are former owners of Sweet Blue Smoke restaurant in Callaway Maryland. Nancy is a Cordon Bleu-trained chef, while Jim is a Self-trained Pit Master. Both are lifetime Official Kansas City BBQ judges. They have a lifelong passion for grilling and smoking food. They're also both excited and committed to teaching the art of wood smoked meats, the ins and outs of cooking times on an open fire or grill. Together they have refined their BBQ recipes, from rubs, to cook times to sides that accompany wood smoked proteins. They look forward to sharing their expertise and helping the backyard smoker/griller get to the next level!

What To Expect

Great cooking is about more than just recipes—it's about celebrating culinary experiences with a foodie community. In this class, our professional chef instructor will show you how to create this fabulous menu, as well as offer you an exciting opportunity to assist in the kitchen. 

  • Instructor: Sweet Blue Smoke
  • Length: Approximately 3 hours
  • Format: Demonstration
  • Restrictions: Ages 16 and older. Students under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult.


All students will receive 10% off any scheduled public class(es) purchased that evening.


Experience Options 

  • General Admission: Arrive at the start of class. 
  • Premium Experience: Premium Experience: Arrive up to one hour before the start of class and enjoy a seasonal appetizer as well as your choice of one glass of beer, wine, soft drink, or water. Also spend a few private minutes with our chef instructor!
