The 2026-27 SIJHL season opens with a rematch of the 2026 championship series between the Fort Frances Lakers and the Thunder Bay North Stars.

The Lakers are looking for revenge after falling just short of a championship in overtime of Game 7. Join us at the IFK for OPENING WEEKEND as the rivalry continues, and the Lakers begin their quest for the Bill Salonen Cup! Puck Drops at 7:15 pm
