What happens when a musical theatre devotee and an absurdist clown fall in love? They do a show together! Mia Martinez and Wesley Tilford are teaming up for a broadly varied night of theatre showcasing their complimentary talents.
Written and performed by Wesley Tilford, featuring Mia Martinez as the opossum, Scab for Hire is an absurdist piece about an everyman who accidentally crosses a picket-line. While he’s working in the factory, he befriends an opossum, whom he must protect at all costs.
Conceived, hosted, and performed by Mia Martinez – and featuring the incomparable Wesley Tilford – , me & Steve is a celebration of an artistic legacy and a tribute to its creator’s most beloved composer and lyricist, the late Stephen Sondheim.
