Description
Orchestra Spring Concert - Join the orchestra on this journey of storytelling and virtuosity. The program includes Franz Liszt’s "Les Preludes,” a heroic example of programmatic music. Alexander Borodin’s interest in exotic culture and explosive colors bring the program to an end. Between the two lies an elegant expression of Tchaikovsky’s lyricism and classical style, but in a very Romantic language. The cello soloist is junior Patrick Guerrini, a winner in this year’s Concerto Competition.
