Description
This is a full day course, covering all aspects of hand-rearing orphaned flying-foxes from receipt to release.
To be able to hand-rear orphans you need full time availability from November-March and be fully vaccinated against Rabies with a proven titre.
$2 entrance fee payable at the door for Fauna Rescue Flying-fox carers and interested Fauna Rescue members.
$25 fee for carers working for other wildlife groups and non-members.
Tea & Coffee will be provided for morning and afternoon breaks.
*** PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN LUNCH***
The intention is to hold this workshop at our headquarters but if Covid-19 restrictions change in the future, we may need to move to a larger venue
