Susan McChesney is a pressed flower artist living and working in western NC. A longtime
educator, she worked for 24 years at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Using pressed petals like
strokes of paint, she creates landscape images reminiscent of WNC. Producing originals, prints,
notecards and jigsaw puzzles, her work is in a variety of WNC galleries and shops. She also
presses Special Occasion Bouquets on commission.
We are an independent arts center, collaborating with artists and non-profits to bring the arts from around the corner to around the world for our WNC community. We curate exhibitions, artist talks, live music performances, film screenings, and workshops. We also offer affordable art studios and spaces, as well as an art boutique with original works by our local artists. Contact us at 828-747-7267 or via email at contact@marslandinggalleries.com
