Description
See highlights from this year’s CCMNH OspreyCam, and learn about other migratory birds with naturalist Karl Fryzel. Karl will take the audience through a fascinating, and often dramatic, six months observing the osprey that nest on our marsh, comparing their story with other bird species that spend time on the Cape. The talk will include Karl’s own observations, gathered through his bi-weekly Bird Walk & Talk sessions that have been running since March.
A portion of proceeds from the event will go towards the CCMNH OspreyCam fund, which is raising money to replace the current equipment. A temporary camera has been in place throughout the year, after the original one was badly damaged in February’s snowstorms. The OspreyCam is one of the Museum’s most popular attractions, with tens of thousands of views from all over the world to its 24/7 livestream.
