Description

Get your costume on and come out for a hootin’ good time at Owl-O-Ween on Saturday, October 19. This spooktacular event at the Carolina Raptor Center combines the enchantment of owls with the thrill of Halloween!

Owl-O-Ween is perfect for families looking to add a touch of wildlife wonder to their Halloween festivities, but there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Owl-O-Ween is made possible by support from Crescent Communities and PlayPower, Inc.

Featured Activities:

  • Costume Contests – Wear your best costume for the chance to win special prizes. There will be winners for Best Bird Costume, Best Non-Bird Costume, and Best Group Costume! You’ll be able to enter the costume contest through a QR code onsite.
  • Trick-or-Treat Trail – Walk the Raptor Trail and fill your buckets with candy. Please bring your own bag for trick-or-treating!
  • Educational Tables – Tap into your wild side with educational tables about how we care for and protect raptors.

Event Schedule:

Morning (10:00 AM - 12:30 PM)

  • 10:30 AM - Meet a Raptor
  • 12:00 PM - Fly-By

Afternoon (1:00 PM - 3:30 PM)

  • 1:30 PM - Fly-By
  • 2:30 PM - Meet a Raptor

Note: For safety, programs have limited capacity. Seating is first-come, first-served and begins 15 minutes before the program.

All programs and activities at Owl-O-Ween are included with admission.
