Description

In this class, we will learn some basic paper quilling techniques. Participants will have the opportunity to create a small paper quill work of art or a pair of earrings.

 

Accessibility Notes

  • This class requires the grasping and manipulation of small strips of paper using tools approximately the size of a pencil or slightly smaller.
  • This class does NOT require previous experience.
  • This class will be held in the upstairs location above Lex Center for Creative Reuse, which is accessed by stairs.  An elevator is available.  Please email Stacey at lexcreativereuse@gmail.com if you will need access to the elevator as it requires a key and a person to operate it.  This is no problem!  We want to make sure we provide accessibility.

Lex Center for Creative Reuse is a nonprofit brick and mortar creative reuse center located in Lexington, KY.  A wide and constantly changing array of art and craft supplies are available for sale.  Proceeds benefit supply grants for public school teachers, subsidize providing low-cost, high-value art and craft classes, and creating vibrant and engaging opportunities for community art.
