Description
Party on the Prairie
Formerly held at Dan and Linda Taylor's Barn in Wolfforth, this year's party will be hosted on site at the FiberMax Center for Discovery. We'll have the same great food, appetizers, drinks, and live music, but now attendees have a chance to check out all of our exhibits, old and new, as they move through our facility.
Progress through the Entire Facility
Cotton Bales to Cocktails
Enter through the new South Door of the Taylor Cotton Heritage Center. Grab a few finger foods in the Garrison Gallery and walk through the 1875 Goodman Gin to the bar. Grab a "Cotton Ginny" cocktail, beer or glass of wine as you look at the start of the cotton exhibits. Watch for signs around this gallery of what's coming next and where you or your company could have their name as sponsor of one of the new exhibits.
Field Trips to Tasty Dips
Next, step in to the Becknell Classroom to sample the dips, chips, and get a feel for the new education space, where we will host workshops and kids of all ages. Take a sneak peek into the new children's exhibits in the McDonald AgWorks wing, opening later this year.
.Boards & Brides
See the latest space for weddings at FiberMax, the Samuel Jackson Bridal Suite. Grab something from the charcuterie board or grab a flute of bridal punch.
.Main Eats & Dancin' Beats
It wouldn't be Party on the Prairie without steak and potatoes. Make your way to the Hurst Family Hall to grab steak bites and treat yourself to the loaded baked potato bar. Tickle your ears with the sounds of the Hot Texas Band from Levelland playing from the CH Foundation Patio. Just want to catch up with all your friends? Have a seat and a chat in the Plains Cotton Growers Conference Center.
Sweet History
No trip to the FiberMax Center would be complete without a walk through the Alton Brazell Museum. Grab a dessert and immerse yourself in some sweet history.
