The Gargoyle Theatre is excited to present, in collaboration with the Day of Pink, an evening of theatre exploring Queer Canadian history, love and talent.

Act I
DAY OF PINK Video Presentation followed by a performance of DANCING WITH THE PAST.
A talkback about the show, tour and Day of Pink will conclude Act I.

STARK RAVING PRODUCTIONS presents a performance of A WORK IN PROGRESS, the 2023 runner-up for the Harry S. Rintoul Award at the Winnipeg Fringe Festival.

DANCING WITH THE PAST description:
It’s 1976. The Olympics are coming to Montreal, and the authorities want to show off the city at its best. So the police are raiding gay bars and bath houses, and erasing all queer existence from the city. 50 years later, an elderly man reflects on the impact those raids had on him as a young gay man, and the pain he’s carried with him all these years later. A play about memory, oppression, guilt, love and hope for social change.
