PechaKucha Night events currently take place in over 1000 cities around the world. The PechaKucha 20 x 20 format is simple and fun: 20 images at 20 seconds per image, for a total presentation of 6 minutes and 40 seconds. The presentation is dynamic, with a verbal component (could be as simple as a speech, spoken word, impromptu song, etc.) supported by eye candy (images). Each presentation lasts only 6 minutes and 40 seconds, and the intent is for the presentations to be only the beginning of a conversation. Due to the varied themes, changing venues, and the live aspect of the event, each one is unique and unlike any other PechaKucha Night event, anywhere!

FAQ

  • The showtime listed for the event is the time the event starts. Doors will generally open an hour before the listed show time unless otherwise listed.
  • We allow pets during the day, but not at night for music (anything after 7pm). Service animals are always allowed
  •  Please do not park in the Broad Theater parking lot. We have a parking lot for The Broadside and plenty street parking available on Toulouse and Lafitte. If you would like to be escorted to your car, please ask the Sheriff on duty. You may also park in the Auto Zone parking lot if they are closed. 
  • Our outdoor space has a variety of seating options such as benches, picnic tables, chairs, and stools. If you require a seat for health reasons or disability, please ask a staff member and they can provide you with a chair.
