The Odyssey is an epic poem by Homer. Originally composed around the 8th century BC, it tells the story of Odysseus as he works his way home to Ithaca after fighting in the Trojan War. His journey takes ten years — the same amount of time the war lasted. This means that Penelope, Odysseus’ wife, has waited twenty years for his return. Penelope imagines this story from her point of view. It is a musical love letter to all those who wait: For someone they love. For something they believe in. And hope that the wait will end well.
Three types of tickets are available. We have a limited number of Reserved Table seats for every performance. Our regular priced tickets ($35) are General Admission. We also have a limited number of discount tickets available for every performance. These are available to anyone who needs a lower price point to be able to attend the show. For those able to pay more, we have a "cover the cost" price that reflects the actual cost of producing the show.
The show runs approximately 70 minutes with no intermission. Doors and bar open one hour before showtime.
