Description
In August 2019, we performed a tribute to Kurt Cobain to a packed house at Ransom Steele Tavern in Apalachin, to commemorate the 25th anniversary of his death. That evening we performed 26 NIRVANA songs, including the all radio hits and several deep cuts. The crowd feedback was nothing but positive, including comments like "The Tijuana Danger Dogs effectively captured the spirit of Nirvana" and "This is the first time I've seen a mosh pit here!"

A Story Steeped in Sound - Central NY's "tribute to grunge"
Celebrating the bands, the music and the sound that originated from Seattle, WA in the '90s. Performing "album accurate" staples of the era as well as the evolution of the music from the off-shoots and "neighboring" bands - those who might not have come from Seattle, but exhibited the popular spirit of the era.
Comprised of four like-minded veteran musicians, Seattle Sons is brought to life by members known from Brand New Sin, Stone Soul Foundation, Rattlebasket and Nineball. Shane, Kevin, Jake & Scott have found among themselves the mutual love and respect for the bands and music of the era, and have come to ensure that together - the Sons produce the best representation of that music.
