PEO STRI TableTop Exchange

PEO STRI, in collaboration with the Central Florida Tech Grove, is conducting a Tabletop Exchange for industry and academia and build up on recent market research responses on data centricity and Artificial Intelligence. Based on the outstanding industry feedback and collaboration, PEO STRI has narrowed the focus to the initial three problem areas with the most value to advance Army Transformation Initiative.

1. Automation of training instructor, coach and analyst reports and other digital artifacts that include text, voice and video.

2. Optimization of scenario generation with the goal to reduce significantly to plan and prepare lead time to training exercises at CTCs or Warfighter events.

3. Automation of Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) to provide data-driven insights on repair levels, optimizing maintenance planning, enabling proactive product support solutions.

We are seeking in your insights and ideas on how to address these challenges and help PEO STRI establish data pipelines for training and testing ranges into Army Enterprise Platform for interoperability, experimentation and decision-making activities. These efforts will be used to determine what follow-on initiatives PEO STRI might pursue to move toward a viable solution to fill this critical gap in soldier training performance analysis and acquisition streamlining.

The Central Florida Tech Grove is a hub for accelerating collaboration and innovation in defense modeling, simulation, training, and human performance.  Tech Grove is located in the Central Florida Research Park in Orlando, Florida which is the epicenter of the nation's largest cluster of government, industry, academic, and industry organizations developing and delivering training and simulation products for our nation's military. Tech Grove was established in 2020 through a Partnership Intermediary Agreement (PIA) between the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) and the University of Central Florida Research Foundation.  Ten other Department of Defense entities are Tech Grove members with NAWCTSD: US Army Program Executive Office for Simulation Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI), US Air Force Agency for Modeling & Simulation (AFAMS), US Marine Corps Program Manager for Training Systems (PM TRASYS), US Army Simulation & Training Technology Center (STTC), US Army Futures Command Synthetic Training Environment Cross-Functional Team (STE CFT), Defense Health Agency (DHA), U.S. Space Force Space Training and Readiness Command (STARCOM), Strategic Environmental Research and Development (SERDP), Army Modeling Simulation Office (AMSO), and the Office of Naval Research through the NavalX Central Florida Tech Bridge.
