Description
Rabbi Jacqueline Koch Ellenson has been leading an insightful and contemplative journey through the Book of Psalms for nearly a decade. This biblical treasure contains expressions of all human experience —searching for God’s presence, grappling with God’s absence, and reckoning with good and evil in the world—issues that remain deeply relevant today.
Through our continued study of Psalms, we’ll explore the depth and breadth of this literature and uncover resources for both daily life and spiritual journey. This Friday lunchtime class offers a meaningful way to prepare for Shabbat, as we gather for learning, poetry, and song.
Seekers and learners of all levels are welcome—both new and returning students. Each session stands alone.
Rabbi Jacqueline Koch Ellenson is a longtime congregant of Rodeph Sholom and Director Emerita of the Women’s Rabbinic Network.
