Description

Their new album is out!

Otis resident and musician Pete Adams, along with singer-songwriter Bobby Sweet of Becket, have united musical forces to record a collection of songs harkening back to the heyday of electric and steel guitar instrumentals of the ‘50s.

On Sunday, August 9, they’ll host a big hoorah to celebrate the release of their CD, Southwest Passage, playing these classics live for your dancing pleasure. Save the date and join us! Show at 7 PM, doors 6:00.

As longtime collaborators, the two have appeared in regionally popular bands over the years, including Dooley Austin and the BSweet Band. Well-known in the Northeast for his tasteful and understated stylings on the pedal steel guitar and sometimes the dobro, Pete has performed with various bands and contributed as a country-rock/old school session player to dozens of recording projects, including Sky Smeed, Felice Brothers, Louise Coombe, Arlo Guthrie, Jon Berman, and Steve Adams.

As a sixth-generation musician and multi-instrumentalist, Bobby is a widely-renowned songwriter and performing artist with seven albums to his name. He has lent his talents as a musician and recording engineer/producer to many regional recording projects.

Southwest Passage by Pete Adams and Bobby Sweet is out now, available on all streaming platforms as well as on CD.
