Imagine you are at an outdoor café, complete with a stage designed to bring you into Neverland itself, while in-house waitstaff serves you themed food and drinks.
And soon, you’ll be watching a live theatrical performance of Peter Pan!
But this is no ordinary production of Peter Pan… it’s one that gets derailed by a deck of Cards Against Humanity™!
And if you've ever played Cards Against Humanity™, you know the zany possibilities are endless.
YOU may even have the chance to derail the show yourself by playing a card of your choice!
Come join us at this interactive, whimsical performance game show—NOT for all ages—that is sure to fill you with wholesome cheer and bust your gut!

Who are we?
Communication By Captivation is both an in-person and online community of multimedia artists (From Cartoonists to Live Performers) working together towards the creation of deeply meaningful storytelling.
You may have seen some of CBC's recent Austin theater productions: Frank's Life, Glengarry Glen Ross, Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, and last year's production of A Christmas Carol Against Humanity!
We welcome all those willing to challenge themselves to develop their ability to captivate the heart and soul of an audience; collaborate to tell stories bigger than any one person could; and through it all, have fun! We are completely self-and-patron funded and do not accept government grants.

Amber Anthony began her love for musical theater and acting at age eight and it stuck. Once it was time for college she attended the New York Film Academy and was able to continue her love of acting on screen and on stage. Now as a full fledged adult (child at heart) she is a professional dog trainer who loves to find local Austin shows to be a part of. Peter Pan Against Humanity is Amber’s third show with CBC and it’s been “an awfully big adventure!" |

Bella “Nic” Justis (Wendy) is extremely excited to preform in Peter Pan Against Humanity. This is her first show with CBC and she couldn’t be more thrilled. Bella has been performing from the age of 3 and just falls more and more in love with the stage each time. She would love to thank the amazing cast, directors, family, and most importantly her little yellow car Bumblebee for transporting her safely to and from practice! |

Julian Grandberry is a multimedia artist born in Houston, Texas. He began his dance training at Sam Houston State University and the Joffrey Ballet School, where he studied from 2009 to 2013. Throughout his career, Julian has showcased his talents as a dancer, performing with esteemed companies such as Carnival Cruise Lines, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, and Dayton Ballet as an apprentice. In addition to his dance career, Julian has portrayed various characters in locally produced plays, demonstrating his range as a performer. Now residing in Austin, Texas as of 2025, Julian is excited to expand his artistic journey by pursuing acting and vocal performance in theatre and musical theatre. He is grateful for the opportunity to perform in his first theatrical production with CBC Theatre and looks forward to growing within Austin’s vibrant arts community.

Kurt Wilkinson graduated from Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi with his degree in Acting and Directing in 2019. Kurt has participated in various productions across San Antonio and Austin including the one man “A Christmas Carol” (Charles Dickens - Classic Theatre of San Antonio) and "Waiting For The Bus“ (Jimmy - Art Spark Texas). Kurt hopes that, as an actor and improv comedian with osteogenesis imperfecta, he inspires future performers with disabilities to thrive. |

Rebecca Besherse Johnson is excited to be part of her first CBC production. She has been involved in several theaters in central Texas both onstage and in tech and production for over ten years. A former professional oboist, she has performed and taught music for over 30 years. Rebecca is the proud mother of six humans and ten cats. |

With nearly two years of acclaimed ghost storytelling at the historic Driskill Hotel, he has captivated audiences with his command of atmosphere and character. A trained improviser with a year of dedicated study at the Hideout Theatre, Camron has honed his adaptability and stage presence, seamlessly blending spontaneity with precision. Now stepping into classical theater, he is eager to explore the depth and nuance of timeless works, continuing his journey as a dynamic and engaging performer! |

As the founder of Communication By Captivation LLC, John is dedicated to crafting immersive experiences, from live theater to animated content. With a rich background in the performing arts, he’s excited to blend his creative vision with the show’s chaotic hilarity. Get ready for a wild ride—John’s making sure it looks and sounds spectacular! |

Lauren is a multifaceted creative, blending her talents as a Production Designer, Event Coordinator, and Reiki Master. Originally from San Diego, she now calls Austin home, where she shares her passion for safe botanicals at SquareRüt Kava Bar. By night, she immerses herself in Austin’s vibrant arts scene. A dedicated supporter of community theatre, she has taken on many roles across numerous productions. Now, she’s thrilled to join the Austin CBC Theatre group, lending her skills to prop design for Peter Pan Against Humanity. |
