Description
Join us for another night of film screenings on the magical rooftop of Petit Ermitage Hotel. These evenings are a beautiful community event and ongoing collaboration between Petit Ermitage, Cheshiremoon Productions, and Blkbrd Films. Doors will open at 7:00pm where you can settle into the evening atmosphere. Grab a drink and some food and listen to live music inspired by the film, featuring Neil Young covers performed by Frankie Palmer. At sunset we'll move to the firedeck for a screening of Dennis Hopper's cult classic OUT OF THE BLUE (1980). We will be celebrating the theatrical re-release as a “lost gem” and the first-rate restoration by Roundabout Entertainment ( Apocalypse Now, Raging Bull). The restoration premiered at Venice and the movie was originally an official selection at Cannes. Also selected for SXSW, AFI fest, and also at TIFF in March this year. Don't miss out on this very special evening and unique opportunity to network with fellow arthouse film lovers.
**This screening will include a special appearance by restoration producers John Alan Simon & Elizabeth Karr who will intro the film and discuss during the Q&A to follow.
