Description
On Monday, February 23rd, join us for a magical evening celebrating independent cinema under the stars at the Petit Ermitage rooftop in Beverly Hills. This special Petits Salons event opens with live music from Sun Suede followed by a curated selection of short films chosen by Sandra Lipski, the Founder, Director, and Head Programmer of Evolution Mallorca International Film Festival (EMIFF).
Often called the “Sundance of the Mediterranean,” Evolution Mallorca is celebrating its 15th anniversary edition this fall (Oct/Nov dates TBD). The festival honors independent film with a distinctive focus on new talent and outstanding cinematography.
This powerful short film selection shines a light on stories about women — complex, resilient, and instinctively driven — navigating turning points in their lives.
Line-up: Synthesize Me, A Place Between Us, Someday It Is., and The Heart of Texas (Winner, Goldfinch Innovation Award, EMIFF 2024).
Following the screening, enjoy a Q&A with the filmmakers and Sandra Lipski, who will also introduce The Festival Key — her consulting program designed to empower filmmakers and festivals to navigate the international festival circuit with strategy, confidence, and purpose.
