For 75 years, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated- Beta Xi Sigma Chapter has provided excellence in our endeavors in service to our home here in Dayton. The Beta Xi Sigma Chapter boasts a legacy that covers over seven decades of our beloved fraternity's history. Chartered in 1949, our chapter is the oldest alumni chapter in the State of Ohio and the third oldest in the Great Lakes Region. The charter members of this chapter were cornerstones of this community and were able to provide consistent service in the name of this great fraternity to City of Dayton despite the challenges of the world.

PBS Beta Xi Sigma Chapter

The Beta Xi Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. boasts a legacy that covers seven decades of our fraternity's history.  Chartered in 1949, our chapter is the oldest alumni chapter in the State of Ohio and the 3rd oldest in the Great Lakes Region.  The founders of this chapter were cornerstones of this community and were able to maintain their fervor and love for this organization despite major world conflicts.  It is on their shoulders that we stand.

With the many changes in our present society including COVID-19 and the struggle for racial inequality, the Beta Xi Sigma Chapter stands poised to assist the Greater Dayton Community in addressing the disparities that face our community.
