Philly Sketchfest 2026 is proud to present Warm Things, Hot Dog Tony, and Burnt Toast!
Warm Things is Melissa Jouben and Dan Gagliardi, a Philly-based sketch comedy duo inspired primarily by Kids in the Hall and internet hustlepreneurs. Their rapid-fire, absurdist sets have been seen at venues across New York City and New Jersey. Warm Things shows are anchored by the duo's frequent on-stage personas: Dan and Melissa, two perpetual grifters doomed to encourage each other's every bad idea without ever accepting the mercy of defeat. Their plots thicken, then thin out, then get kind of gummy, culminating in an experience that is as disorienting as it is entertaining.
Hot Dog Tony is a Greensboro-based sketch comedy trio featuring A.J. Schraeder, Milly Mason, and Seth Payne. The group blends sharp writing with a touch of absurdity, delivering tightly constructed sketches that escalate quickly into the unexpected. They perform regularly at The Idiot Box Comedy Club, where they debut new material every other month. Members of the group have previously performed at SF Sketchfest, Chicago Sketchfest, Toronto Sketchfest and many more.
Burnt Toast Sketch Show is a high-octane, fourth-wall breaking, absurdist take on sketch comedy, specializing in scenes that COMMIT to the BIT. We do topical, we do timeless, we do fake blood capsules and elaborate musical numbers-- we do it all! Come get weird with us, and we promise: this time, you'll be glad you smelled Burnt Toast.
Philly Sketchfest was created in 2008 to celebrate sketch comedy in the City of Brotherly Love. Over the years, Philly Sketchfest has brought some of the best sketch comedians to Philadelphia.
