Philly Sketchfest was created in 2008 to celebrate sketch comedy in the City of Brotherly Love. Over the years, Philly Sketchfest has brought some of the best sketch comedians to Philadelphia. In addition to live shows, Philly Sketchfest also produces a podcast, My First Sketch, hosted by Josh Higham, available wherever you get your podcasts.
Description
Philly Sketchfest presents Never Sad and We're All Sad. Let's Laugh!
Nehemiah & Jed are NYC-based writers and performers who couldn't be more different: Nehemiah's a first-generation Ethiopian-American who got into sketch comedy for the money; Jed's a bespectacled blond Jew who's only ever wanted a best friend. Together they braved a business-class Acela to present you with New York-style hard comedy (n.) – smart, insightful, and purely-hilarious live sketches, based on their unique dynamic as well as what's going on in the world, all designed to make your Philadelphian torsos hurt from laughing and get us a Hollywood deal (according to Nehemiah).
