Description

Philly Sketchfest presents Warm Things and Cory Snearowski!

Warm Things is Melissa Jouben and Dan Gagliardi, a Philly-based sketch comedy duo inspired primarily by the enterprising spirit of internet hustlepreneurs. Their rapid-fire, absurdist sets have been seen at venues across New York City and New Jersey. Warm Things shows are anchored by the duo's frequent on-stage personas: Dan and Melissa, two perpetual grifters doomed to encourage each other's every bad idea without ever accepting the mercy of defeat. Their plots thicken, then thin out, then congeal and get a tad gummy, culminating in an experience that is as disorienting as it is entertaining.

Cory Snearowski is a writer, filmmaker, and comedian. His short films were selected for Slamdance Film Festival. His other short film Branchburg was produced by Tim Heidecker and his production company, Abso Lutely Productions. Vulture Magazine named it one of the Best Comedy Videos of 2018 and one of the best comedy moments of the decade. Snearowski co-created, co-starred, and co-wrote the fictional scripted podcast, This Is Branchburg with Brendan and Cory. Abso Lutely Productions produced the podcast, with Adult Swim producing season two. His work has been published by The Onion and ClickHole, and he has been featured in USA Today, AV Club, and VICE magazine.
