What comes after college? For one woman, it is moving back in with her parents and working as a birthday party princess. As she suffers from the growing pains of leaving the portion of life that she had planned, she learns what separates childhood from adulthood, and all the complexities that follow. 

Artist Bio:

Grace Waldrip is extremely excited to be performing her show “Pity Party” for the Tucson Fringe Festival. She is also very grateful to everyone who assisted and was supportive during the process of creating the show. She is very thankful that she gets to produce and perform a show she wrote for an audience, and in her hometown. Currently in her gap year after graduating from high school in Spring of 2021, this will be her Fringe debut, and it is a dream come true to have this experience.

Tucson Fringe Festival

The Tucson Fringe Festival is an unjuried, uncensored performing arts festival. Following international fringe tenets, the festival provides artists with low-risk, low-cost opportunities to perform by using economies of scale to reduce venue rental costs and by taking 0% of the artist’s earnings. Additionally, the festival also provides the Tucson arts community with avant-garde, non-traditional performing arts at very low ticket prices. Finally, the festival does not curate or select the performances, maintaining an environment in which everyone and anyone can perform. This ensures that underrepresented artistic voices are championed in our community.
