Description

Join Sally Dellar of the acclaimed London bakery Crumbs & Doilies and learn to make delicious plant based bakes, sure to impress both your vegan and non vegan friends alike. 

Create delicious baked goods without the need for eggs & dairy. Using ingredients in their place including aquafaba and courgette, to create delicious textures and flavours in your baking.  

You will work in pairs to create the following plant based treats:

  • Bakewell tartlet-  Create classic Frangipane, learning how to use aquafaba in place of eggs.
  • Chocolate chip cookies- Make cookies with the perfect chewy texture, loaded with melty chocolate chips.
  • Chocolate courgette cake- A delicious moist cake that is perfect for afternoon tea.

About your chef

Sally began her baking career at the esteemed London bakery Crumbs & Doilies 15 years ago, creating delicious treats that gained huge acclaim through their online presence. Sally has also been a fixture on the company’s hugely successful YouTube channel Cupcake Jemma, where she creates fool-proof recipe videos every week with her 2 co-hosts. For the last 2 years Sally has been teaching baking and cake decorating classes to the public and loves nothing more than bringing people together in a safe and inclusive environment to share her experience and help others to learn new skills.
