Description
On the first Tuesday of each month, Syzygy becomes a place where game design is done in public, and everyone is invited! Playshop is an opportunity for all kinds of game designers and game players to come together to play each other's ideas and search for that fickle quality known as "fun." It's more low-key than a game jam, less formal than a play testing event, and more playful than a networking event. We want it to be a place where anyone is comfortable bringing any kind of game at any phase of development, even just a napkin sketch.
We hope that this event helps build up the local game design/development community by helping connect people, validate early-stage designs and facilitate cross-pollination. Who knows, maybe the next [insert massively successful game here] will be created here!
We're still figuring out how much structure this event needs. You'll be asked a couple questions when you get a ticket that will help us figure that out.
